First, check to make sure you transferred funds to your Qapital Spend account. You'll need to do this in order to utilize your Qapital Visa® Debit Card, or your card will be declined for insufficient funds. To fund your Qapital Visa® Debit Card, follow these steps:
Open the Qapital app and navigate to the Transfers tab (identified by two arrows in opposite directions).
Tap New Transfer.
Select the "From" account (e.g., your savings) and the "To" account (your Spend Account).
Enter the amount to transfer using the slider or input a specific figure.
Tap Continue, then confirm by selecting Transfer $XX. After transferring funds, retry the transaction.
Why is my Qapital Visa® Debit Card Being Declined?
Card declines on your Qapital Visa® Debit Card can be frustrating, especially when you believe funds are available. Declines may occur for several reasons, including insufficient funds in your Spend account or security-related blocks by SHAZAM Falcon®, Qapital's fraud prevention service.
SHAZAM Falcon®, our card processor, monitors your Qapital Visa® Debit Card for unusual or suspicious activity to protect your funds. If such activity is detected, your card may be blocked.
